Greg Thompson is the Scientific Advisor at SATAVIA; Greg is based at the National Centre for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado and is a part time technical advisor. Greg is a world leading expert in numerical weather modelling, particularly on the parameterisation of cloud physics and precipitation processes; he develops models used for operational weather forecasting and has worked closely with the Federal Aviation Administration on aircraft icing prediction.
