DevOps & Platform Lead

Company overview

SATAVIA is a ClimateTech company with a vision to reduce the climate impact of flying. Our mission is to reduce the warming impact of aviation caused by the clouds aircraft make by developing state-of-the-art tools for climate optimised flight planning, working with leading aircraft operators around the globe.

Role

As DevOps & Platform Lead at SATAVIA, you will play a key role in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the company’s DECISIONX product suite. This position requires a blend of skills encompassing DevOps practices, system architecture, cloud infrastructure management, and full stack development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop SATAVIA DECISIONX platform and contribute to the technical roadmap
  • Forecast and report against the development budget, and ensure technical documentation and platform security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for user-friendly interface design and code reviews
  • Optimise cloud infrastructure, implement CI/CD pipelines, and manage cloud resources
  • Configure containerisation and orchestration solutions and implement security best practices

Required skills, experiences and attributes

  • Software development and engineering
  • Cloud and HPC expertise
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools and containerisation
  • Data engineering and manipulation

  • Strong communication skills and teamwork

  • Willingness to travel and manage internationally

Salary

Dependent on experience.
